BaldEagle Spring 6-27 thru 6-28-2022

I fished Bald Eagle the first day. The sun was intense but the water temp was just 68 degrees.
The water was off color. Probably from T-Storms a day or so ago but the water flow was perfect.
Fellow told me all the major hatches for these creeks were over till fall. Not sure what he meant. Look at this video...kinda looks like a hatch to me.
Really is quite different not seeing Mike fishing below me in this stretch. I had three on but didn't land any.
For me, this is big water. It gives me a chance to lengthen the cast just a bit.
Second day it was on to Spring creek. Here there were no hatches...at least not during the time that I was here. I saw a couple fish rise but not often and not…
I had a working fish in this stretch. He (or she) would rise about every 15 or 20 minutes. So, I worked this part of the stream for about 3 hours.
I really wanted to fish dries this trip and Lord knows I tried but there wasn't a fish to be had on the surface.
So, in desperation I sunk a nymph. Maybe like a confidence builder. If I had to catch a fish, could I? Here's the result...of course I could!
Another pic of the came fish. It was pretty but it also shows the milky colored water.
